Old yeller looks disappointed and jealous that the family gets to eat chicken… that is until his owner gives him Kibbles & Bits Homestyle with chicken flavor then he dances the night away! The video speaks for itself.
Shocked by the widespread epidemic of tastless fast food value menu items, Wendy’s has launched the Bureau For Better Value in order to educate consumers of low cost fast food that actually tastes good! Sounds like a self centered marketing ploy with a little cornyness around the edges. The “MRM Worldwide campaign” features a website made by Wendys which teaches consumers the value and good taste behind the Wendy’s 99¢ value menu with Flash videos and alot of interactive goodies. There’s also a collection of black and white videos with amusing voiceover dialogue. There’s even a video of Frosty and Fries in battle!

In retrospect to the roaming gnome nature, Travelocity’s roaming gnome has disappeared to unknown parts of the world. In a recent television spot from McKinney which starred a very unconvincing gnome replacement, a website was launched to collaborate the marketing shift for GnomeWatch.com - the first ever branded use of Yahoo! 360 webpage builder.
The MySpace/Facebook type website features breaking news updates from investigative reporter Mary O’Hara’s blog. Visitors can join the Gnomewatchers community group on Yahoo! Groups and post their own stories and photos of Gnome sightings via a Flickr account. Traveolicty, an online based travel site, is being rather quick to jump on the ball of social network marketing.
