Anti Piracy Advertising Campaign From Kalahari

This relatively new anti-piracy ad campaign from Kalahari was developed to create awareness amongst individuals both in the United States and especially overseas that piracy creates only higher and higher prices. I enjoy how the campaign uses pop-star, movie, videogame, and music celebs such as Superman and Lara Croft in horrible circumstances. These celebrities are the ones we’ve grown up with and love even to this day.
The truth behind the characters, or those behind their creations, are the corporate mega-giants still pulling in millions every year. I’m sure many of them need to see an increase in net profits from year to year and are failing to see so due to piracy. FCB, the creators of the ad campaign, do a good job of capturing the ‘mask’ and the ‘veil’ that have been pulled over our eyes to perceive large scale companies that produce products that we commonly pirate with their friendly characters in desperation situations.
