SC Johnson Enviornment Campaign

SC Johnson chairman and CEO Fisk Johnson appears in a new advertising campaign geared toward improving the company’s image by communicating to consumers the company’s commitment to the enviornment. The ads featured Johnson displaying SC Johnson products including Shout, Ziploc, and Pledge while demonstrating the enviornmental stability and safety of the ingredients. In the ad Johnson comments that “We’re constantly evaluating all the ingredients that go into our products to make them safer for your family and better for the environment for generations to come.”
What’s interesting to note is that SC Johnson uses a patented Greenlist process classification system to measure and track the enviornmental friendliness of each product the company sells.
