I’ve seen Kinky on television here and there throughout the year. Kinky Friedman, if you haven’t heard, if running for govenor of Texas. With a name like Kinky I couldn’t help but investigate the man a little bit further. At KinkyFriedman.com I discovered a collection of campaign ads. My favorite involved Kinky as a talking doll talking to the press. One might argue that this off the wall form of political promotion will lose him the election. I can only point of the childlike bickering that the majority of campaign political ads run that attack the opposition. My point is that Kinky speaks his mind and keeps his focus on the issues rather than the competition.
