If contextual based advertising baffoonery wasn’t enough, the world of newspaper advertising is starting to follow suit. Whether or not the transition from a tangible newspaper to the online world of reporting has confused the editors of UK based The Independent I may never know. Nonetheless, this ad placement for “Killer Value” was placed right next to a news article for the Amish Mass Murders that recently occured. The ad appeared on page three and someone should’ve caugh this mistake. I guess next time my boss gets on my arse for making a typo I can feel better knowing what the idiots at The Independent are doing.
