ESPN Drops Yahoo Text Ads

Yahoo has some competition in the world of contextual based advertising. ESPN, which was planning to use Yahoo’s text ads, is now aligning with Quigo’s AdSonar to run their own text based ads. With how appealing ESPN is to advertisers, I can see no other reason then ESPN selling their own ad space and keeping more money for themselves. The advertisers will be able to target keywords and be up and running by this fall.
