Rap susperstar and entrepreneur, Jay-Z, has been chosen as co-brand director of Anheuser Busch beer branded Budweiser Select. Jay-Z, also known as Shawn Carter, will be involved in the company’s name branding sessions and provide his entrepreneur thoughts and insight. Aside from Jay Z’s involvement in branding sessions, the superstar will also be aiding in the development of advertisements for Budweiser.

This is the first time the bewer company has signed a celebrity to be in the active development of one of their beer brand lines. Jay-Z will be appearing in a television campaign to promote Budweiser Select and his new album ‘Kingdom Come’. Jay-Z will lend his hand on upcoming Budweiser Select television ad spots, radio ads, print campaigns and make several public appearences.
