Prostitutes Advertising On Craigslist Arrested
Marketing News, Bizarre Marketing September 10th, 2006
Prostitutes are going full speed into the techonology world of the internet. Police in Bucks County have charged 12 women after an investigation into prostitues who had been advertising their services on the job listings site Craigslist. The prostitutes advertised in a local listing section of Craigslist under the “girlfriend experiences” category. The police conducted an undercover investigation and met with the women at motels and arrested 12 in connection with the online prostitution ads. All I have to say is as the internet continues to grow and more users gain access to it, we must really think about policing the internet. First there was Crack Heads Gone Wild, then various websites trying to sell drugs online, and now this.
